This page explains how Seven Dwarfs Software handles information received through its website, communications, feedback, purchases, and related services.

Last updated: September 23, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy page applies generally to Seven Dwarfs Software and its website, communications, feedback channels, purchases, and related services.

Individual products may provide additional privacy information when their data handling differs materially from this general policy. In that case, the product-specific notice supplements this page.

2. Information we may receive

The information Seven Dwarfs Software receives depends on how you interact with the website and services. It may include:

  • technical web request information, such as IP address, request time, browser or protocol information, and requested pages;
  • information you send by email, including your email address, message content, signature information, and attachments;
  • information you choose to submit through feedback or other website forms, including an optional contact address when offered; and
  • order, billing, licensing, or transaction information associated with purchases made through a commerce provider.

3. How information may be used

Information may be used as reasonably necessary to operate Seven Dwarfs Software and its products, including to:

  • deliver and protect the website;
  • respond to general inquiries and product-support messages;
  • investigate reported product problems;
  • understand product workflows and feedback;
  • improve products, documentation, and website content;
  • process purchases, licensing, refunds, and related records; and
  • meet legal, accounting, security, or record-keeping obligations.

4. Website and email providers

Seven Dwarfs Software currently uses Cloudflare infrastructure for its public website and Zoho Mail for email. Cloudflare services are also used to protect and process the current website feedback form, including automated-abuse checking and server-side form handling. These providers may process technical or communication data as needed to provide their respective services.

Additional service providers may be used where needed for commerce, payment processing, or other business infrastructure.

5. Feedback and support content

If you send feedback or a support request, Seven Dwarfs Software receives the information you choose to include. That information may be used to understand the request, investigate a problem, identify recurring needs, or improve a product or its documentation.

The current website feedback form is received and validated through Cloudflare infrastructure, including automated-abuse checking. A server-side function then uses the Seven Dwarfs Software Zoho Mail account to send the submission as an email notification to its support inbox. The website does not maintain a separate database of feedback submissions. The resulting email may be retained as business correspondence under the retention principles described below.

Do not send passwords, license files, confidential source material, proprietary data, or other sensitive information unless it is necessary, you are authorized to share it, and you have considered whether a less sensitive description would be sufficient.

6. Purchases and commerce providers

Paid products may be sold through a third-party commerce provider. The provider may process customer, payment, billing, tax, and transaction information under its own privacy terms.

Seven Dwarfs Software may receive customer or order information that is reasonably needed for product delivery, licensing, refunds, accounting, fraud prevention, and support.

The specific commerce provider and any provider-specific information will be reflected in the public purchase flow when purchasing is enabled.

7. Product-specific data handling

Products can differ in how they handle files, diagnostics, licensing, network access, or other technical data. Product documentation should be consulted for those product-specific details.

If a future product introduces materially different privacy behavior, Seven Dwarfs Software may publish a separate product privacy notice in addition to this general policy.

8. Sharing of information

Information may be processed by service providers used to operate the website, communications, forms, commerce, or other necessary business functions. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, security, users, or the integrity of Seven Dwarfs Software services.

9. Retention

Communications, feedback, order records, support information, and related business records may be retained for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which they were received, to maintain business records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

Retention periods can differ depending on the type of information and the service through which it was received.

10. Security

Seven Dwarfs Software uses reasonable technical and operational measures appropriate to the services it operates. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You can help reduce unnecessary exposure by avoiding sensitive information in ordinary contact, feedback, or support messages unless it is genuinely needed.

11. Your choices and questions

You can choose not to provide optional feedback or optional contact information. You can also decide what attachments or diagnostic materials to share in a support request.

For privacy questions concerning information you have provided to Seven Dwarfs Software, contact [email protected]. Rights and options may differ depending on applicable law and the information involved.

12. Changes to this page

This Privacy page may be updated when Seven Dwarfs Software changes its website, products, service providers, or data-handling practices. The date at the top of the page identifies the current published version.
